Welcome to Hendrik Amsterdam, an atmospheric pancake restaurant in a special spot in Amsterdam Zuid, right on the border with de Pijp and close to Museumplein. In the former restaurant Le Garage, for years the culinary domain of Joop Braakhekke, we now bring our Vreeland tradition to the city.

Our pancakes are traditionally prepared with primal flour from corn mill De Ruiter in Vreeland on the Vecht, exactly as it has been done for generations. Everything on the menu is prepared with care and love, always using fresh and where possible local ingredients. Whether you visit with your family, friends, children or for a spontaneous lunch or dinner in the neighborhood, at Hendrik's we always welcome you with open arms.
